This addendum to our debut album Households collects three early demos written and recorded by singer/guitarist Josh Escoto prior to Nevada Mountains' formation.

Josh wrote these songs in 2011, conceiving them at the time as a cathartic solo experiment; but these recordings later became the foundation for three of Households' vital tracks: "Bangover," "Lukas," and "Lilacs."

The demos were engineered in-home on an iPad and produced with GarageBand. Guitars and bass were tracked line-in while drums and auxiliary instruments were recorded with the iPad's built-in microphone. (Although the tracks are extremely rough, we think the inherent lo-fi quality adds to their charm.)

Enjoy them! They're enjoyable.
